Lecture-Recitals and Master-classes

Dr. Tsalka often presents master-classes for pianists, early keyboard performers, chamber groups (in any formation), vocalists and accompanists.

He also delivers lecture-recitals, with themes ranging from the early baroque to the contemporary era, performance practice, sight reading, and improvisation.

Recent lecture-recitals and master-classes included a one week master class at Celaya Conservatory in Mexico and at China Conservatory in Beijing; the University of Rutgers’ Musicological Society, the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei, Lilla Akademien in Stockholm, the Carlo Gesualdo Center and the Early Keyboard Festival in Buenos Aires, the Philham Life Auditorium in Manila, Philippines, the University of North Texas, the International Clavichord Symposium in Magnano, Italy, the University of Western Ontario, Canada, Haverford College in PA, and the Anderson Center for Interdisciplinary Arts in Minneapolis.
